First Call Caller Field: Name Prompt or Text Field

Overview

In MIS Professional, the “Caller” field can be configured to be a name prompt field or a free form text field.

Depending on the configuration of the "Caller" field, users will have the option to display the name fields associated to the MIS Professional First Call “Caller” field as free form text field or a name prompt field.

Workflow

When the First Call Caller field is a name prompt field:

  1. Login to MIS Professional
  2. Navigate to Dashboard > Cases > First Call
  3. The Caller field displays as a Name prompt field
  4. Enter Caller information
  5. Enter Caller Relationship
    1. In this scenario, the Caller Relationship is a required field
  6. Enter required information on the First Call screen
  7. Save changes made to the First Call Screen

 

When the First Call Caller name fields are free form text fields:

  1. Login to MIS Professional
  2. Navigate to Dashboard > Cases > First Call
  3. The Caller name fields display as free form text fields
  4. Enter Caller information
  5. Enter Caller Relationship
    1. In this scenario, the Caller Relationship is NOT a required field
  6. Enter required information on the First Call screen
  7. Save changes made to the First Call Screen
